Military Personnel Flight
The Military Personnel flight is available to active duty, dependents, retirees, contractors and others for ID/CAC, DEERs, passports and more! DEERS/CAC Appointments available (M, Tu, Th, F) via: https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/ and Walk-Ins accepted on Wednesdays. All other sections accept Walk-Ins daily!
ID CARDS/DEERS
Members must make an appointment for CAC, Dependent/Retirement ID Cards or DEERS updates by visiting https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco
CAC and DEERS Appointment Scheduling:
RAPIDS SELF SERVICE
Service members may visit ID Card Office Online (osd.mil) to log in to their DEERS profile (CAC required) to update:
- Address
- Phone number
- Personal Email
- Form 1172 for dependent ID card renewal
IDENTIFICATION
Proper identification is required for all transactions. To be issued any ID card, 2 forms of unexpired identification are required for adults, one of which must be a current photo ID. Please reference ‘ACCEPTABLE DOCUMENTS’ under important links.
- CHILDREN under 18 years of age only need one form of ID.
- All documents must be Original/Certified. Photocopies are not accepted.
RENEWAL OF CAC/ID CARDS
Renewal of CAC/ID cards can be done up to 90 days prior to the expiration date
Deploying members must ensure CAC remains current through the duration of deployment
LOST/STOLEN OR CONFISCATED CAC/ID CARDS
Please bring:
- Police report
- Letter or memorandum from the individual’s Commander or the first Sergeant

MILITARY RETIREES
Retirement Orders*

PASSPORTS
All active duty military members are required to coordinate with their Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) for Official Passports. UDMs will brief active duty members on how to obtain an Official Passport and are required to review and initial the Passport Application Packet before submission to the Passport Agent.
Active duty military members with dependents PCS’ing to a destination requiring a No-Fee Official Passport should contact the Passport Agent for guidance on obtaining a No-Fee Official Passport.
Important Reminders
- All applicants (including children) must appear in person
- Average processing time is 4-6 weeks
- Anyone requesting a passport must be a U.S. Citizen
- Photos cannot be more than six months old
- The state of Texas, California and Georgia do not allow extracts (must be the original full length version)
- Original Birth Certificates are mandatory if submitted as proof
- Application (DS11 or DS82) must be printed single sided
- If both biological parents are not present to apply for a child under 16, parent must provide notarized parental consent form (DS-3053) with photo ID, or court document reflecting sole custody
