Tech 101: Web Browsers

This is an ongoing, beginner-friendly technology program for adults with a new topic introduced each month to help participants build confidence and skills over time.

This month’s class focuses on how to safely use and navigate a web browser. Designed for adults with little to no computer experience, the session will cover opening and using a browser, understanding basic browser features, and practicing safe online habits. Participants will learn how to visit websites, use tabs and menus, recognize trustworthy links, and avoid common online risks, making everyday internet use feel more comfortable and secure.
