Tech 101: Microsoft PowerPoint Aug 20 at 1PM

This is an ongoing, beginner-friendly technology program for adults, with a new topic introduced each month to help participants build confidence and practical computer skills over time.

This month’s class focuses on creating and using Microsoft PowerPoint. Designed for adults with little to no computer experience, the session will cover how to open PowerPoint, create a presentation, and use basic tools and features. Participants will learn how to add slides, insert text and images, choose simple designs, and present their slideshow. By the end of the class, attendees will feel more comfortable creating clear, visually engaging presentations for personal or professional use.

August Bingo | August 21, 5 PM – 8 PM –  Join us for an exciting night of Bingo filled with great prizes, food, and fun. The event will be held in the Landing Zone Tri-Rooms and is open to 75–100 players.

Food will be available for purchase from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, so come hungry and make a night of it.

Bingo cards will go on sale from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The evening will kick off at 6:00 PM with introductions and rules, followed by nonstop Bingo action until 9:00 PM.

The cost per person covers 10 games. Club members play for $25, while non-members play for $30. Daubers will be available for purchase for $3 each, and extra jackpot cards may be purchased for $2 each.

Please note that there are no sleepers allowed. Bingo must be called before the next number is announced.

Payouts get bigger as the night goes on. Game payouts range from $50 in the early rounds to $200 in Game 9. Game 10 features a $500 progressive Bingo, with a $1,250 jackpot!
