Cannon Clash is FREE week-long celebration of gaming culture here on base. Come play, compete, create, and connect. There is something at CCVIII for everyone: tabletop games, console tournaments, DnD sessions, cosplay competitions, an art showcase and MORE! This event is open to all who have base access. Whether you’re Active Duty, dependent, civilian: All are welcome to participate! Prizes and giveaways will be available throughout the entire event for all who attend.

  • VR “Dead Zone” high score challenge (Saturday only)

CREATIVE CONTESTS INFORMATION

  • Cosplay Contest: Show off your best look! (Saturday at 1 PM)
    •  Props can not contain: live animals, pyrotechnics (including smoke/fog), or liquids.
    •  Contestants will be judged by a panel of 3 judges: 1 military, 1 civilian and a third party for fairness.
    •  No bodypaint/nudity forms of cosplay. (Including overtly Lewd characters)
    •  Contestants under 18 MUST have parental guidance present
  • Art Alley: Discover and celebrate local talent! (Duration of the Saturday Tournaments)

There will be PRIZES for for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in both competitions!

PRIZES INFORMATION

Enter giveaways with tickets earned throughout the tournament!

There will be several giveaways during the entire event for different prizes that attendees can enter with tickets. Earn tickets by entering tournaments, volunteering, voting in the cosplay competitions or just showing up to support! Our big surprise giveaway is open for anyone to enter! We will also have giveaways specifically for airmen in the dorms as well.

We will be handing out dozens of random prizes throughout the 3 day event. Whether it be shirts, posters, controllers, gift cards, knick-knacks, you’re sure to be a winner for just showing up! 

*Only a person in attendance can win. If a name is called and the person is not in attendance, another name will be called. (I.E. If you can’t make it, give your ticket to a friend. If your ticket is called but you are NOT physically present, the prize will be re-rolled).

FRIDAY

Casual Play for all games & Jenga, Uno, and Connect 4 Tournaments

Food will available for purchase via the Tailgates Sports Lounge (located on the 1st floor). In the event the kitchen is closed, outside food will be allowed into the venue.

SATURDAY

12 PM – 10 PM

Tournament Matches To Semi-Finals for all Games & Cosplay Competition

SUNDAY

1 PM – 7 PM

Grand finals & surprise raffle giveaway
