Wings Over Cannon

On June 6, 2026, Cannon Air Force Base will open its gates to the public for Wings Over Cannon, a commemorative air show themed “Normandy to Now.” This special event honors the legacy of the D-Day landings while showcasing the evolution of America’s unconventional airpower from World War II to today.

The air show is free and open to the public and will feature a full day of excitement, including dynamic aerial demonstrations from modern Department of War aircraft, WWII-era warbirds, civilian performers, and Cannon’s own Air Commandos.

In addition to the flying action, Wings Over Cannon will include a fly-in, car show, historic aircraft displays, interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and STEM-focused experiences for all ages—making it a must-see event for aviation enthusiasts, families, and the community alike.
